Recently, Emanate Life Sciences had the privilege of sponsoring the first annual “Hope Services Benefit Concert”. The event was well-attended and very successful, raising over $379,000 to support Hope Services' mission.
The concert featured performances by GRAMMY Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient Booker T. Jones, and two-time GRAMMY nominee Mindi Abair and The Boneshakers. Booker T. and his band played familiar classics from his extended catalog, including "Green Onions" and "Hang 'Em High". Mindi Abair has had a solo jazz saxophone career, as well as playing with acts like the Backstreet Boys, Aerosmith, Duran Duran, Mandy Moore, Gregg Allman, Dave Koz, The Boneshakers, Joe Bonamassa, kenny wayne sheppard, keb' mo', and more. Mindi and the Boneshakers had the audience on their feet with their infectious blues/rock tunes.
Proceeds from the concert will support Hope’s mission to improve the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health needs. Hope Services has been the leading provider of services in the Silicon Valley for over 66 years. Their services reach all age groups, from infants through seniors with programs such as children’s early intervention, day programs, staffing, mental health care, community living assistance, senior programs. Emanate is a proud supporter of Hope's vision to promote a common understanding that the world is a better place when people with disabilities are fully integrated into our community and culture.
